In May 2013, we launched our Thank You Thursday program. One year later, together we have raised almost $12,000 for local non-profit organizations from the program.
We put this program together as a small way to give back to the community that supports us. Every Thursday we invite organizations into our tap room and give them the opportunity to meet our customers and showcase the work they do. So many great conversations and partnerships happen when people sit down with a beer. And for each pint, growler or set of three tasters sold that night, we donate $1 to that weeks organization.
For us as a small brewery, we don’t have enough beer to donate to every great cause that asks us. Thank you Thursdays allows us to support great causes, give back to the community, in a way that we couldn’t do with beer donations alone.
Thank You Thursday organizations have included Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation, Ballard Boys and Girls Club, Nana I Ke Kumu Pono Foundation, Center for Wooden Boats, Nordic Heritage Museum and the Cedar River Watershed.
