Our annual invitational festival is here again! On Saturday, July 20, we’ll be tapping 18 different beers from brewing industry friends both near and far. And we’ll be serving these hoppy ales and crispy lagers at our main bar as well as a second back bar alongside dozens of our own core and limited releases.
Beginning at 1:00 p.m. there will be four guest beers pouring at any given time, or until a keg is emptied. New beers will be tapped at 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. Here’s the complete list of guest drafts that we’ll be serving at the fest.
MAIN BAR
Kölsch German-Style Ale (4.5% ABV) – 1:00pm tapping
A blonde, top fermented ale brewed from pilsner malt. Bitterness is restrained, and the palate is light-bodied and dry with a soft malt flavor in the center giving way to a dry finish. Kölsch has won 3 Gold GABF awards and 2 World Beer Cup medals!
Schwarz Lager (4.8% ABV) – 1:00pm tapping
Chuckanut Brewing Co.
Schwarz has some resemblance to an Irish stout in that it combines snappy bitterness with dry, coffeelike roast flavors on a light to medium-bodied frame. The main difference is that the Schwarz is lagered so it is round, clean, smooth, and finishes crisp.
Scatter Plot West Coast Pils 5.8% ABV) – 1:00pm tapping
A mathematical West Coast Pilsner – charting various Pilsner and IPA data points to display the most flavorful and refreshing beverage possible. Scatter Plot is a clean, clear, empirically balanced Pilsner with a burst of citrusy West Coast hops.
Tide Land Stout (5.0% ABV) – 1:00pm tapping
Fort George Brewery
Tide Land is the place where stout meets barrel aged stout, a confluence of the rich, nuanced flavors of 15-month barrel-aged imperial stout and fresh, young, low ABV stout. All the malty, thick complexity of a barrel and none of the high alcohol content.
Seidla Helles (4.8% ABV) – 4:00pm tapping
A malt-forward golden lager. Inspired by the brewing traditions of Upper Franconia, we have created a Helles with imported German malts, balanced with a nuanced hop profile, and a finish that is as refreshing as it is crisp.
Pêche Fruited Sour (8.0% ABV) – 4:00pm tapping
Wander Brewing
A blend of spontaneously fermented barrel-aged beer, aged and refermented on whole Washington grown peaches. Tart and complex with a lively stone fruit ester profile and an extra dry body and mouthfeel.
Time’s Arrow West Coast IPA (7.7% ABV) – 4:00pm tapping
A West Coast IPA brewed with Colorado Malting Company malt and hopped with Idaho 7, Citra, and Colorado-grown Cascade hops.
Enigma Weirding Way Foeder-Aged Brett Saison (7.0% ABV) – 4:00pm tapping
Our Mutual Friend Brewing
A folder-fermented Brett Saison dry-hopped with Enigma. Funky tropical pineapple, papaya, and white grape aromas.
Sippin’ Cookies BA Stout (13.9% ABV) – 6:00pm tapping
Conditioned on 60 lbs of chocolate sandwich cookies, 30 lbs of cacao nibs, and a touch of vanilla beans to bring you truly one of our favorite pairings. Big waves of milk chocolate are wrapped with a swirl of boozy sweetness, rich vanilla, and an earthy dark chocolate, bourbon char.
Pub Mai Tai Tropical IPA (6.5% ABV) – 6:00pm tapping
Alvarado Street Brewery
Our drier, decidedly “tropical” IPA that’s light on bitterness, but heavy on hop aroma, courtesy of 100 percent Mosaic hops. One whiff and you get super intense notes of passion fruit, mango, and lychee. Double dry hopped with Mosaic Cryo.
Double Grid Double IPA (7.5% ABV) – 6:00pm tapping
A Citra and Mosaic hopped Double IPA.
Take the High Wave IPA (7.0% ABV) – 6:00pm tapping
Hop Butcher for the World
A Nectaron, Mosaic, and HBC-586 hopped IPA made in collaboration with Humble Sea Brewing.
BACK BAR
Akoya Japanese Rice Lager (4.8% ABV) – 1:00pm tapping
Exceptionally easy-drinking, this bright and fresh lager is a nod to traditional Japanese lagers brewed with rice alongside barley. This thirst-quencher is a single-hop brew, featuring an exciting new variety named Akoya.
Hop Head West Coast IPA (7% ABV) – 1:00pm tapping
Icicle Brewing Co.
A nice small-batch West Coast IPA brew highlighting Michigan-grown Chinook hops from Hop Head Farms. Classic grapefruit, citrus and pine notes and aromas with a nice dose of pineapple as well.
Howdy! Pale Lager (4.5% ABV) – 4:00pm tapping
Made in collaboration with Mid-Columbia Fisheries, this pale lager was brewed using 100% Salmon-Safe malt. Bready, but light-bodied.
Odd Feather Hazy IPA (6.8% ABV) – 4:00pm tapping
Single Hill Brewing Co.
This DDH Hazy IPA is loaded up with Galaxy, Centennial, and Azacca hops for a huge tropical and citrus aroma.
Jucifer Hazy IPA (6.0% ABV) – 6:00pm tapping
A devilishly delicious hop bomb that makes your nostrils flair and your tail point. Dry-hopped with massive amounts of Citra and Mosaic hops for a truly delicious treat.
Happy! Smile! Hey! IPA (6.0% ABV) – 6:00pm tapping
Gnarly Barley Brewing Co.
A medium-bodied American IPA with a rich caramel malt body and sturdy hop structure from the Amarillo and Cascade hops, strong on the citrus notes with a dash of floral to balance.
