For our 10th anniversary we made a celebratory Barleywine with our friend and brewing legend Alan Sprints of Hair of the Dog Brewery before he retired. And then, since Alan helped pioneer barrel-aging beer in the US, we pulled off a portion and put it to rest in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for a full year. Strong notes of bourbon-soaked chocolate, banana muffin, and cherry caramels with a rich, oaky finish.
