An annual release since 2021, The Crows is an exercise in the art of blending. For this year's vintage, we combined two parts Imperial Stout aged in Old Forester bourbon barrels, two parts English-style Barleywine aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, and two parts Stoutwine aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels that all had been aged between 8 and 20 months. By carefully selecting and proportioning each element, we are then able to produce a final blend with uncommon character and complexity. Expect a rich, full-bodied beer with notes of cocoa, dark cherry, and oak.
