Fourteen years ago, Reuben’s Brews opened its doors in Ballard with a passion for brewing bloody good beer. Fourteen years later, we are beyond grateful for the incredible community that has rallied around our taprooms every step of the way.
To say thank you, we are throwing our 14th Anniversary Beach Party all day on Saturday, August 8th at the Ballard Taproom!

We’re turning the taproom into an open-air beach bash complete with fresh beer releases, live music, a hog roast, and a stacked lineup of activities for the kids.
Fresh Beer: Beach Crush Hazy IPA
What’s a 14th birthday without a special brew? We are officially launching Beach Crush Hazy IPA, a tropical, hop-forward hazy crafted specifically to pair with sun-soaked afternoons and beach party tunes.
Live Music Lineup
We’re bringing the festive sounds to the stage all afternoon:
- 4-6PM: Ian Dobson’s Pan Leggo: Bringing the irresistible, tropical steel-drum sounds to carry us through the celebration!
- 6-8PM: The Delstroyers: Setting the high-energy vibe to kick off the afternoon with spooky surf instrumentals
Hog Roast & Feast
Our kitchen team will be running a classic beachside Hog Roast throughout the event, alongside a delicious smoky Jackfruit option so our vegetarian friends don’t miss out on the feast.
Family-Friendly Kid Zone
We’ve always been a place for the whole family, and our 14th bash is no exception! Bring the kids down to enjoy our dedicated Kid Zone, featuring:
- Custom hat and koozie pressing
- Professional face painting
- A DIY friendship bracelet station
