Taste and Talk Through Beer Off-Flavors with Our Team
Working on becoming a beer judge, Certified Beer Server, Cicerone, or just a more knowledgeable beer drinker in general? Join us next Monday, 1/23 for an off-flavor sensory class with two members of our team!
Kat Ray, our quality manager, and Nicole Lamonte, our sales manager (who is a Certified Cicerone), are combining their industry experience to lead you through an interesting, interactive evening learning about four different off-flavors that can be found in beer, and the causes behind them.
This ticketed event will take place at The Canning Line (800 NW 46th St., Seattle, WA, 98107) on Monday, January 23rd from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. Monday’s class will include:
- A welcome beer upon arrival
- Four samples spiked with off-flavors
- A full pint following the tasting and discussion
- A handout describing the causes of each off-flavor and how to identify them
Note: You must be 21+ to participate in our sensory class. Pets will not be permitted.
