A Cascadian Collaboration for AAPI Heritage Month
As Third Culture Kids, the Korean American co-founders of Reuben’s Brews and Thunder Island Brewing know what it’s like to walk in one world while being rooted in another. After connecting over their Korean heritage, Grace Kim Robbings and Caroline Park Lipps found they have a lot more in common. So, they decided to put together a collaboration that highlights the experience of people with this mixed identity.
In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we’ve made a beer that also walks in two worlds: IPA and lager. Third Culture Kids offers big aromas of tropical fruit and dank citrus in a dry, light-bodied Cold IPA. Draft and cans to-go will be available at the Taproom on Saturday, May 7. A portion of proceeds benefit the non-profit Families of Color Seattle. Join us for the release event and help support a local organization committed to racial and economic justice.
