Reuben’s and Friends 2022 Guest Draft Lineup

Over the course of the day on Saturday, July 16, we’ll be tapping 26 special beers from our brewing industry friends. We’ll have two pouring stations serving these beers alongside dozens of our own core and limited releases. When the doors open at 11 a.m. there will be nine guest beers on tap. New beers will be tapped at 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. At any given time, at least four festival beers will be pouring at each station.

Here’s a complete listing and description of the guest drafts that will be served at the festival:

Alvarado Street Brewery

Las Brisas (Imperial Tropical Punch Sour) – 10% ABV

An imperial tropical punch sour ale with mango, papaya, guava, pineapple, and Tahitian lime.

Shark Tooth Necklace (Hazy IPA) – 7.2% ABV

A hazy IPA brewed with Nelson Sauvin and Galaxy hops.

Burke-Gilman Brewing Co.

No Shoes, No Shirt (Double IPA) – 8% ABV

Motueka, Riwaka, Cryo Citra, and a little Galaxy contribute aromas of mango, passionfruit, pineapple, and melon. On the palate, passion fruit flavor combines with mango, Jolly Ranchers, honeydew melon, and kiwi. Creamy with a sweet finish.

Fort George Brewery

Antediluvian (Barrel-Aged Stout) – 13% ABV

Fort George overflowed their mash tun with roasted barley and chocolate malt to brew the Imperial Stouts that became Antediluvian. This abyssal liquid then sat in oak barrels for over four years. The extended aging added complexity, with strong notes of dark cherry, vanilla pod, leather, and sherry wine.

Beta 30 (West Coast IPA) – 7.2% ABV

A super secret test run for a top secret, absolutely hush-hush, not even announced yet, Winter Seasonal collaboration project with BFFs Fort George and Ruse Brewing in Portland (they also have a Crust Collective in Vancouver). Aromas of stone fruit, citrus, guava, and some piney dankness give way to flavors of tropical fruits, fresh berries, and pine with a balancing degree of bitterness.

Georgetown Brewing Co.

Exosphere (India Pale Ale) – 6.9% ABV

Remember when you were a kid and astronaut ice cream was a really big deal? This is like that but totally different in both texture and flavor. Drift out beyond the planet’s atmosphere with this golden unfiltered IPA, bursting with flavors and aromas of ripened cantaloupe, canned pineapple, tangerine, and a touch of juniper.

Kip (Light Lager) – 4.5% ABV

The real life Kip is a tiny light dog. Kip the beer is a tiny light lager. One is for petting and one is for drinking. One is crisp, clean, and refreshing, and one sleeps for 19 hours a day. Both are pretty great.

Hair of the Dog Brewing Co.

Sunturn Blend (Smoked Barleywine) – 12% ABV

A smoked Barleywine brewed in collaboration with Norway’s Nøgne Ø and aged for six years.

Doggie Claws (Barleywine) – 11.5% ABV

A Barleywine with aromas of candied ginger and hops in the aroma, this beer has moderate carbonation and a deep amber hue. Flavors of pine and orange mingle with young alcohol and hop bitterness on the palate.

Kings & Daughters Brewery

The Battle of Gravensteen (Tropical Fruited IPA) – 6.2% ABV

Mango, guava, and passion fruit purees combined with a good hit of bitterness, overripe tropical fruit, and a bit of bright citrus. A flavor journey. *contains lactose*

Subtle Removal of Matter – Trap Door Collaboration (West Coast IPA) – 7.2% ABV

A dry but balanced body, assertive bitterness, citrus fruit forward with classic West Coast resin. Flavor intense with clean hop flavors.

Moonraker Brewing Co.

Toppenish (West Coast IPA) – 7% ABV

A West Coast IPA brewed entirely with Simcoe hops.

Nuclear Waves (Hazy IPA) – 7.5% ABV

A hazy IPA brewed with Citra Cryo, Amarillo, and Idaho 7 hops.

Otherlands Beer

Brighten the Corners (Helles Lager) – 4.7% ABV

An unfiltered take on a classic south German pale lager. Soft, bready, and refreshing.

pFriem Family Brewers

Peche (Barrel-Aged Sour) – 5.8% ABV

When pFriem adds juicy, heirloom peaches to its year-old Lambic-inspired ale, magic happens— they unite, gushing with bright acidity, nutty undertones and a tangy finish. It does take eight more months of aging, but it’s well worth the wait.

Frambozen (Barrel-Aged Sour) – 5.7% ABV

Take a sniff of this raspberry Lambic-inspired ale, pFriem Frambozen, and huge perfumy aromas of fresh fruit will tease your nose. Take one sip and your taste buds will be embraced by the flavors of lavender and fresh jam before the tart, prickly finish will make you long for another.

Ravenna Brewing Co.

Rhinestone Cowboy (Hazy IPA) – 7.2% ABV

A light floral aroma greets you on this bedazzling hazy IPA. Low sweetness and full-bodied, with medium bitterness Rhinestone Cowboy has a flavor profile of lemon zest, white grape, and just a hint of kiwi before giving way to earthy cedar note on the finish.

Voltova (Czech Pale Lager) – 4.9% ABV

Featuring floor malted Bohemian Pilsner malt, Czech-grown Saaz hops, and a storied Czech lager yeast, Voltova reflects Ravenna’s commitment to brewing faithful renditions of classic European lagers. Czech Pale Lagers offer the same noble hop spice aromas found in Czech Pilsners, but with reduced bitterness and alcohol, allowing subtle malt notes of biscuit and lightly toasted bread to share the stage.

Rhinegeist Brewery

Metaphysical Mango (Fruited Sour Ale) – 6.5% ABV

Difference and fermentation. Metaphysical Mango is a testament to fresh fruit and house cultures. After a brief stint in an oak foeder—with an acidic assist from some Lactobacillus and Brettanomyces—this sour siren dove deep into a sea of mango for a year, adopting a fruit-forward persona.

Knowledge (Double IPA) – 8.5% ABV

Intense and refined, Knowledge delivers notes of resinous pine, dank sap, pithy grapefruit, and ripe pineapple. Chewy hops, a zesty punch; this erudite Imperial India Pale Ale sharpens perceptive depths in the studious night.

Single Hill Brewing

Yacht Party (Guava IPA) – 7.1% ABV

Break out your captain’s hat, apply sunscreen liberally, and don your favorite pair of sunglasses, this tropical blast of an IPA invites mondo relaxation on the sun deck. Do you hear Steely Dan or is it just us?

The Sportsman (Pilsner) 3.2% ABV

This crispy, bright West Coast-style Pilsner is the perfect companion for the wanderlust spirit. Best enjoyed deep in the Pacific Northwest mountains.

Stemma Brewing

Super Squeeze (Smoothie Seltzer) – 7.5% ABV

This wonderfully refreshing seltzer is sweetened with Orange, Papaya, and lemon fruits. It’s naturally gluten-free, crushable and pairs well with just about any occasion.

Conditus (Lemon and Cayenne Lager) – 5% ABV

The Conditus name originates from the latin term for spicy. This Bohemian-style lager is lemon on the nose with just enough cayenne heat to not overpower the smooth lager taste.  This is a perfect food beer!

Wander Brewing

Earlybird Bourbon (Barrel-Aged Imperial Breakfast Stout) – 9.6% ABV

Earlybird wakes up once a year after its long, deep slumber in bourbon barrels. This sticky, sweet, and bold imperial stout is brewed with lactose, house-made dolce de leche, oats, and coffee. The perfect addition to a well-balanced breakfast. Where’s the donuts?

Wild Warehouse (Barrel-Aged Farmhouse Ale) – 6.8% ABV

This farmhouse-style saison is aged seventeen months in ex-Chardonnay barrels. Glowing golden-orange with notes of nectarine, cedar and light phenolic spiciness, Wild Warehouse is mellowed by a significant wood tannin profile. Dry, complex, and worth the wait.
