Lager Fest 2022 Tap List

Our first Lager Fest takes place on Saturday, June 25! Expect three different food trucks throughout the day and a total of 18 different lagers on tap. No tickets necessary, and all ages are welcome.

We’re very excited to share the lineup we’ve curated. Along with 10 of our own lagers, we’ll also be pouring the following guest beers—while supplies last—during the event. Plus, we’re also premiering the next release in our 10th Anniversary Collaboration Series. So stop by to try 6:1, the New Zealand-style Pilsner we made with our friends at Chuckanut Brewery, and then grab a 4-pack to go! Here’s the full tap list:

1.  6:1 (5.1% ABV) *

A New Zealand-style Pilsner hopped with Nelson Sauvin and Nectaron, two southern hemisphere varieties known for their intense aromas of wine grapes and tropical fruit. Flaked rice in the mash lightens up the body, ultimately producing a beer that’s bright, biscuity, and well suited for summer. As for the name? It turns out there are six sheep for every person in New Zealand!

2. APROPILS (5.2% ABV)

Inspired by the style-defining Tipopils from Italy’s Birrificio Italiano, Apropils is our take on a crisp and snappy Italian-style Pilsner that we lagered on Spalt Select hops for about four weeks to amplify their zesty, lemony character.

3. PILSNER (5.4% ABV) *

Our Czech-style pilsner is a clean, crisp, and bright lager with bready malt notes. Floral and spicy hops are balanced with a hint of sweetness.

4. SOUTHSUN (4.8% ABV) *

Southsun is our Mexican-style lager: thirst-quenching, balanced, and very refreshing. Vienna, Pilsner, and flaked corn provide the light smooth body, with delicate Saaz hops adding to a crisp finish.

5. SUN COMPASS (5.3% ABV) *

To celebrate Norwegian Constitution Day and our neighborhood’s Scandinavian heritage, we brewed a lager-like beer that shines as bright as the sun. Starting with Pilsner malt and a bit of Carapils, we used Tettnanger and Saphir hops for a mild, pleasant level of spice, and a farmhouse Kviek yeast from Norway fermented cold to add a touch of fruity character.

6. SVĚTLÉ (4.6% ABV) *

Inspired by the classic 10° plato pale lagers of the Czech Republic, our faithful homage is clear and crisp with a hint of bready sweetness.

7. TMAVÉTOR (7.9% ABV)

Tmavétor is our interpretation of the rare Czech Tmavé Speciální 20º, a Czech-style Doppelbock brewed with all German malts and hops. Our version is partially fermented in second-use bourbon barrels to accentuate the rich and toasty notes of caramelized sugar, dark fruit and maple in this strong dark lager.

8. WESTPORT LAGER (4.4% ABV)

This Pre-Prohibition-style lager is a light, easy-drinking beer with just a touch of bitterness and a flavor driven by Pilsner malt and bit of Vienna malt that provides its golden color as well as subtle notes of biscuits and honey-coated cereal.

9. YAKIMA FIELDS: 1134 LAGER (4.8% ABV)

This Kellerbier or unfiltered lager is the first in a series we’ve created to explore some of the experimental hops currently in development around the country. For this release we used HBC 1134, which contributes notes of orchard fruit and mild spice to a balanced beer with a cracker character.

10. 1134 PILSNER – YCH Pilot Brewery (5.4% ABV)

Designed to highlight a new hop variety from the Yakima Valley known simply as HBC 1134, this beer relies on a simple malt bill of Pilsner and Carapils.

11. POLARIS PILSNER – Chainline Brewing (5.0% ABV)

Polaris hops provide a unique, mint-like flavor while still maintaining their Noble lineage. Bohemian malts and yeast provide the body you would expect from this style Pilsner, while finishing a bit sweeter than its Teutonic counterpart.

12. CATHEDRAL TREE – Fort George Brewery (4.8% ABV)

Brewed in the Lovell Brewery and fermented in the Lovell basement in great big oak barrels, this beer is oak fermented and lagered, but not “barrel-aged.” Pale straw in color, this Pilsner offers floras, white grape, and rustic raw grain aromas in addition to doughy, bready, herbal & floral hops and white nectarine flavors.

13. SCHWARZBIER – Köstritzer Brewery (4.8% ABV)

A multi-faceted dark beer: black in color, full of flavor, yet refreshingly light.

14. SONGS OF COURTSHIP – Otherlands Beer (5.8% ABV)

A Festbier made for the brewery’s second anniversary, Songs of Courtship is a doubled decocted beer brewed entirely with Pilsner malt.

15. KORBINIAN – Weihenstephan Brewery (7.4% ABV)

Korbinian Doppelbock has a strong character and even more flavor – named after Saint Korbinian to honor the founder of the Weihenstephan monastery.

16. BAVARIAN PILS – Ayinger Brewery (5.3% ABV)

Ayinger Bavarian Pils is the flavor of a fruitful barley harvest, seasoned with noble hops: a brisk golden lager with snappy hop aroma and velvety-soft malt flavor, from locally-grown barley. A thick creamy head rests atop this brilliantly clear, golden elixir.

16. JAPANESE LAGER – pFriem Family Brewers (5.0% ABV)

Dense, snow-white foam relaxes on a brilliant, champagne-hued pour. Bright aromas of shiso plum, fresh bread and violet precede sparkling flavors of jasmine rice, fresh green tea, and wildflowers. The finish is effervescent, quenching and super dry.

17. HELL – Wayfinder Beer (4.7% ABV)

Crisp, light, refreshing, and brilliantly effervescent with a floral, noble hop aroma.
