Cryocurrency is an experimental beer brewed exclusively with Cryo Hops, which concentrate the flavors and aromas of whole leaf hops by processing them at low temperatures in a nitrogen-rich environment. To create this dank and juicy IPA with bold notes of citrus we chose three of our favorite varieties: Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe. Twice as potent as traditional hops, the six pounds per barrel of Cryo Hops we used in this beer would be the equivalent of almost 12 pounds per barrel of traditional pellets. The result is a pure whirlwind of hoppy flavor and aroma!
